For my blog, I chose to read the book "Blue Bloods" by Melissa De la Cruz. It's about Schuyler Van Allen, a girl who just doesn't fit into her lavish surroundings of Duchesne, a prestigious New York City private school. While her peers prefer to wear Prada and pearls, Schuyler would rather wear baggy, awkward clothing that makes her look tinier than she already is.
Schuyler's friend Dylan Ward invites her and her other friend, Oliver Hazard-Perry to a new club in town. Supposedly, he can get them in with no problems. But as Shuyler waits in line with Oliver, she watches as a guy from her class, Jack Force, walks out in front of a cab and seems to disappear beneath it. Miraculously, seconds later she can see he's perfectly fine on the other side of the street.
That's all I have read so far.

I gather from the photo of the book that this is about vampires. Last summer was my "vampire summer," since I read all the Twilight books and all of the True Blood series. I never knew I liked vampires so much :) I hope you enjoy the book.
